Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel pays 100% of premium costs for all benefit eligible team members. Our insurance policy includes medical, dental, and vision with low office visit copays and preventative covered at 100%. Spousal and dependent coverage is available too for a low monthly premium cost.

Every benefit-eligible team member is automatically enrolled in a $50,000 Basic Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) policy.

Ensure you will still have a source of income if you need to be away from work for up to twelve weeks with our Short Term Disability (STD) plan. It will cover up to 60% of your weekly earnings to a maximum of $500 per week for non-work related injuries or illnesses. STD will pay for up to thirteen weeks that you are out on leave.

Free Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a 100% confidential service that offers counseling, financial and legal advice, and any support to help you solve personal and professional problems so you can regain balance in your life, at work, and at home.

For the convenience of our team members, the medical staff from the wellness center holds free shot clinics, often on-site at Lucky Eagle.

Additionally, all Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel team members are eligible to utilize the Wellness Center located near the casino. This is a great opportunity to establish a relationship with a primary care provider.

Team Members can register with the clinic immediately following the hiring process. Office visit co-pays are waived for team members who register with the Wellness Center prior to visiting.

All full-time team members will accrue 18 days of paid time off and holidays in their first year. This grows with years of service.

LEC&H’s Family and Medical Leave (FML) policy provides eligible team members with up to twelve (12) work weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave in a twelve (12) month period, starting from the first day that FML is used. FML may be taken on a continuous or intermittent basis, depending on the team member’s individual circumstances.

Team members who face a serious health condition or personal emergency that may require a continuous leave of absence, but are not eligible for Family and Medical Leave (FML), may request one Personal Leave of Absence (PLOA) of up to thirty (30) calendar days, in a twelve (12) month period of time.

Military Leave of Absence (MLA) provides employment protection and a means for Team Members to secure time off when called to U.S. Military Service. MLA covers all categories of military training and service, including duty performed on a voluntary or involuntary basis, in time of peace or war, and applies to the National Guard and Reserve Military Personnel and also applies to persons serving in the active components of the Armed Forces as provided by state and federal law.

All full-time, part-time, and scheduled on-call team members who have been continuously employed by LEC&H for at least ninety (90) days, may take up to three (3) days of LEC&H paid Bereavement Leave based on their scheduled hours per day, per occurrence, in the event of a death in the team member’s immediate family.

Immediate Family Members include: Spouse, Domestic Partner, Child, Parent, Step Parent, Parent In-Law, Sister/Brother, Grandparent, Grandparent In-Law, Great Grandparent, Grandchild, Niece/Nephew, Aunt/Uncle, First Cousin

LEC&H team members are also eligible for up to 2 weeks paid jury duty per year and domestic violence leave for themselves or certain family members.

A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) enables you to set aside money on a pre-tax basis to pay for your out-of-pocket health and day care costs. This can save a lot of money on eligible medical expenses.

In addition to the $50,000 of employer-paid Basic Life Insurance, Lucky Eagle team members also have the opportunity to purchase additional Voluntary Life insurance for themselves and certain family members through payroll deductions. Premiums are based on age and tobacco use. You are guaranteed the option to receive up to $130,000 in life insurance for yourself.

Accident Insurance provides a lump sum benefit based on the type of injury sustained or treatment required. Some covered injuries include broken bones, burns, torn ligaments, concussion, ruptured discs, and more. This policy is portable, should you ever decide to leave Lucky Eagle.

Should your employer-paid Short Term Disability be exhausted, Long Term Disability can then pay you up to 60% of your monthly salary to a maximum benefit of $500 per week, should you choose to elect to pay for this benefit option.

Critical Illness will pay a lump sum benefit up to $50,000 at the diagnosis of a covered, life altering illness, such as cancer or a stroke. This money is to be used any way you need/feel best. It also features a wellness benefit of $75 per calendar year for getting any covered preventative health screening. This plan is also portable and can be continued if you leave Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel.

Full-time team members working a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits the first of the month following two months of continuous employment and upon completion of the application for coverage. Certain family members are also eligible for benefits.

Please note: You have 30 days from your effective date to elect your benefits. If you do not enroll within that time frame, you will have to wait until you have a "qualifying event" or the next Open Enrollment
