TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE

HEARTS ROUND, DIAMOND ROUND, CLUBS ROUND & SPADES ROUND

SECOND ROUND

The second round consists of up to three tables in each round. The number advancing to the semi-final round will depend on the number of participants in the second round.

The final round consists of six participants at one table.

NOTE: Lucky Eagle Casino management reserves the right to restructure the number of rounds and the number of participants advancing from each round on the day of the tournament.

HOW DO GUESTS ENTER THE BLACKJACK TOURNAMENT?

  • Guests will purchase a ticket from the Lucky Star Rewards Center and all guests must be 21 years of age or older. LEC&H Team Members are not eligible to play.
  • Participants should meet at 10:15 AM in the tournament area the day of tournament to discuss rules of play.

RULES

  1. Participants are to report to the tournament area at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled start time. Another participant, at management’s discretion, may replace any participant that does not show up.  The late or absent participant may be considered a “no show” and may forfeit their right to play in the tournament. There is no guarantee that a tournament participant who missed their assigned time will be allowed to play in another round.
  2. Table and position assignment is by random selection.
  3. The betting/dealing sequence will begin by placing an indicator at position #1—located to the immediate left of the dealer. After each hand, the dealer will move the indicator from position #1 sequentially, from left to right, to the position furthest to the right of the dealer. After the rightmost position has “had a turn” the betting/dealing sequence will then return to the #1 position and the sequence will continue as described above.
  4. Each participant’s issue of tournament chips (per round) is $1,000. No tournament chips may leave the table. Tournament chips have no cash value.  Chips must be kept in plain view at all times and separated by color. No writing material by players is allowed.
  5. Each round consists of one shoe plus 5 hands. Participant’s chip banks will be counted down after the completion of the shoe for all to see.
  6. Each participant must participate in every hand. If a participant’s remaining chips fall below the table minimum, all of that participant’s remaining chips must be bet on the next hand. If a participant refuses to bet, that participant is disqualified.
  7. Betting must be done in a timely fashion—once an apparent delay is brought to the attention of tournament supervision, a maximum of 15 seconds will be allowed for a player to place their bet. The tournament minimum, $25, will be the player’s bet if he/she does not make a bet when asked.
  8. AFTER EACH HAND, ALL BETS MUST BE PULLED OUT OF THE BETTING CIRCLE. ONCE A BET IS IN THE BETTING CIRCLE, EVEN IF PUT IN OUT OF THE BETTING ORDER, THE BET CANNOT BE CHANGED.
  9. All players must have a minimum bet of $25 and there is no maximum bet.
  10. If there is a tie, there will be a three-hand playoff. $1,000 in tournament chips will be issued. Seating and betting positions will be determined by picking cards from a facedown deck. Participants will be seated from left to right sequentially, with the highest-ranking card starting in the leftmost position. Those involved in the playoff will rank, in order, according to the position the playoff was for.
  11. Participants may be requested not leave the table during play until that round is finished and all chips are accounted for. If a participant voluntarily withdraws from play, they may be eliminated from the tournament. Participants may voluntarily disqualify themselves.
  12. Dealers will count down the participant’s chips for the final score (dollar amount).
  13. No communication about strategy, either verbal or visual, is permitted between the participants and any spectators.  Collusion among players may result in their disqualification.
  14. There is no beverage service to participants during their respective rounds—this is to assure continuity and timeliness of play.
  15. Tipping the dealers is permitted at any time as long as tournament play is not adversely interrupted.
  16. A participant may be eliminated from play if they are in violation of tournament rules or if they withdraw from the table.
  17. No substitutions are permitted. That is, another player cannot replace the participant starting the tournament.
  18. Participants must be 21 years old to enter and play in the tournament (valid identification may be required).
  19. Lucky Eagle Casino Associates are not eligible to participate.
  20. In the case of a dispute, it is the participant’s responsibility to bring it to the Supervisor’s immediate attention. All decisions by the Lucky Eagle Casino management are final.
  21. Lucky Eagle Casino blackjack rules apply. No side bet (Trilux) is offered.
  22. Lucky Eagle Casino house rules, and/or the tournament director’s decision, will apply in the case of situations not covered in the tournament rules. The Lucky Eagle Casino reserves the right to disqualify any person before, during, or after the tournament.
  23. The Lucky Eagle Casino reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone for any reason.
  24. If the player has a blackjack and the dealer has an ace up, and the player is all-in, there is no even money paid. The player must have chips available for insurance in order to receive even money.
  25. A player may insure for less.
  26. Players must have a valid receipt to draw a card for a seat in the tournament. A valid photo I.D. may be requested.
  27. A player may surrender one-half of their bet on their first two cards only. This can only be done after the dealer has checked for a dealer blackjack and before the player takes a hit (late surrender). The hand signal for late surrender is a horizontal motion, behind the bet (towards the player), on the layout.
  28. Winners of monetary prizes will have to complete Form 1099 or a substitute prior to the awarding of the prize.
  29. Players are not permitted to hit a hard 21.

Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the promotion at any time, pending approval from the Chehalis Tribal Gaming Agency.
